What this page is

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar laws in Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), and other US states, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.

What Winrove does

We do not sell personal information for money. We never have. We do not have a data-broker relationship with any third party.

We do use limited analytics and product-improvement cookies (PostHog, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare Insights) only when you explicitly accept the cookie banner. Under the broad definition of "sharing" in CPRA and similar laws, this analytics data flow may qualify as "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising," even though we do not run advertising and do not retarget you.

Out of an abundance of caution, we honor opt-out requests for all third-party analytics and tracking, regardless of which state law applies to you.

How to opt out

You have three options. Any one is sufficient.

1. Reject analytics in the cookie banner. The banner appears at the bottom of every page on your first visit. Click "Reject" (or use the "Customize" option to disable analytics specifically) and no third-party analytics will load. Your choice is stored locally and respected on every subsequent visit.
2. Send the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a binding opt-out. No further action needed. (Brave, Firefox, and most privacy extensions send GPC by default.)
3. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Opt-out request." Please include the email address you use with us so we can locate your account. We will confirm your opt-out within 15 business days.

Authorized agents

If you are an authorized agent submitting this request on behalf of a consumer, please email [email protected] with: (a) the consumer's signed permission, (b) verification of the consumer's identity, and (c) the opt-out request. We will respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension as permitted by law.

What we will NOT do in retaliation

Exercising your opt-out right will not affect your access to Winrove, the price you pay, the features you can use, or the quality of support you receive. The product works the same with or without analytics enabled.
